I am on the Legal Services Committee for the Poor in Jefferson County and believe that there should be legal services available regardless of income. This office will not represent you for free, but will take into account your income and assets in determining what a fair fee is. We also provide a free ½ consultation. We may also, if you so decide, prepare your paperwork for you at a reduce fee. Many people file for divorce or custody on their own with disastrous results, especially for the children. Going to Court without an attorney is not in your children’s best interests.
